Ceasarean Section

A caesarean section also known as a C-section is a surgical procedure whereby a baby is delivered through an incision in the abdomen, it isnormally done in cases where vaginal birth is not possible, because of the risk to the baby and mother.

You can also plan to have a C-section, this is called a planned elective C-section. This C-section is usually done from week 39 of pregnancy, this  C-section can also be done earlier if you are expecting more than one baby.
